people to today's dynamic aquaculture industry.

Our waterfront eatery is a one-of-it's-kind experience featuring food truck-style

ordering, an open-air picnic table dining area, and beer & wine for sale.  This authentic oyster-lovers experience includes a visit to our oyster seed facility, where you will enjoy a weekly rotating merroir of oysters from local farms across Virginia.

Explore our Menu

The Hatchery food truck features an oyster-centric menu that rotates a selection of oysters from local farms in the region. Raw, roasted, or fried, we have an elevated menu curated by our lead chef, Doug DeForge.

We also have options for the non-seafood eaters, and beer and wine for purchase to pair with your meal.

Promoting community pride in shellfish culture by connecting the consumer to cradle to grave
aquaculture.

Tours

We offer numerous aquaculture tour experiences from our facility. Every other Friday, guests can book an oyster hatchery tour and tasting to learn how oysters get their start as seed in a hatchery environment.

Now guests can also separately book an aquaculture boat tour experience to visit a local farm to see how oysters are raised to adults!
